Trezor HW wallets get new desktop app: Trezor Suite - ecosystem of tools for Bitcoin
SatoshiLabs, the inventors of hardware wallets, is upgrading its product portfolio with a brand new desktop application, which lets you manage your Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, while completely secured by your Trezor device. Available as both a desktop standalone program and a browser app, Trezor Suite brings big improvements across three key pillars of security, usability, and privacy. As is customary at SatoshiLabs, Trezor Suite is an open-source project available for anyone to review and to build upon.
Why a desktop wallet?
Taking the wallet interface out of a browser eliminates the risk of phishing sites tricking users into providing their seed or other information. A desktop app provides more robust protection and reduces the number of mistakes or exploits that could result in someone losing their keys or coins.

What's new about Trezor Suite?
Dozens of new features have been added, from smart UI improvements to a range of new tools, making it easier and safer to use your wallet in more sophisticated ways.

- Trezor Suite now also natively supports ETH, ETC, XRP, and lets you manage over 1600+ other coins and tokens in one easy-to-use app.
Trezor Suite is now in public beta and available to download and test. The old browser-based version, Trezor Wallet, will continue to work while the public beta is underway and will eventually redirect users to the Trezor Suite web wallet, including all the new features present in the desktop application.
