Developer Experience Engineer

As a DevEx Engineer at SatoshiLabs, you’ll drive the automatization of processes hand whilst working in a team of 3 developers showing initiative and coming up with improvement and optimization of CI.

We mainly use GitHub as our repository. Our CI is currently on GitLab and both our CI and code are public, you can have a look at what we’re currently working on here and here.

Do you have experience with DevOps with a focus on infrastructure and CI and keen to drive the improvements and also a teach us a thing or two? Then this could just be the right fit for you!


 What will your duties be?

  • as far as regular tasks go, expect things like:
    • infrastructure deployment and automation
    • management of CI and CD and supporting/ assisting developers within CI
    • maintenance of npm libraries
    • Automate testing and releases infrastructure
    • initiative with recognizing, bringing and implementing new ideas and pushing them forward


 What do we want?

  • experience with GitHub actions is a must
  • knowledge of JavaScript / npm eco-system, monorepo maintenance and architecture
  • familiarity with Docker
  • you have a good knowledge of Linux systems
  • being comfortable with building performant CI and looking for ways to optimize it
  • an overlap to security and privacy is welcome
  • nice to have knowledge of testing frameworks and QA tools when it comes to CI
  • skills with Python, C, Rust would be helpful to you in regards to the firmware part of the project
  • mobile development experience in relation to CI would be an extra bonus
