React Native Developer

Now you can join a team of the youngest company in SatoshiLabs Holding - Vexl - and be able to work on this mission directly with its founders Marek Palatinus and Pavol Rusnák!

Apart from being responsible for taking over the native development from the external agency, you'll also take an active role in laying the groundwork and shaping what the future development of Vexl app will look like.

It's important to say that for this role here at Vexl, we're searching for an experienced colleague capable of independent decision making and able to handle stack ownership. Previous experience with a transition from native Android and iOS development to React Native is a great advantage, but not necessary.

What do we want?

• kickoff of the development of a brand new React Native app based on our current native apps in Java/Kotlin and Swift
• understanding of client-side technologies such as Typescript, React Native, Expo
• experience with testing and appropriate testing tools / libraries (Jest, React-testing-library, Detox)
• experience with modern state management libraries like Jotai, Recoil, Zustand - we don’t want Redux
• familiarity with build pipelines and tools (fastlane, Expo EAS, setup CI build pipelines)
• experience with building secured and privacy-oriented apps. Therefore, you need to be aware of how things work under the hood and how it affects security and privacy
• familiarity with the open source world and ideally contributing to open source, because the project will be open source!
• experience with or desire to learn functional programming principles
