R&D Project Manager / Design Engineer

Join us as an R&D Project Manager / Design Engineer and you'll be working on three new products that are in the prototyping phase as well as another one in the pipeline.

A high level of autonomy will be expected from you. You’ll coordinate activities across all project phases, working closely with our SW product team, UX Researchers, and suppliers.

Last but not least, you should be no stranger when it comes to creative and innovative thinking. You'll use it in product design. Thousands of our satisfied customers will appreciate your commitment.

What will your duties be?

• you'll be responsible for projects in all phases of product development
• you'll bring some innovation for given features/components
• you'll design components or create technical specifications for suppliers
• you'll coordinate PoC (Proof of Concept) preparations
• you'll coordinate prototyping, serial product development and testing with our suppliers
• you'll participate in technical / project meetings in Czech/English (information gathering/requirements advocacy)
• you'll report on your achieved results regularly

What makes you the perfect candidate?

• solid technical background (preferably in mechanical, hardware or electrical field)
• 5 years of experience in R&D is a must
• previous experience as a Design Engineer and Project Manager is the key to success
• you’re familiar with CAD systems such as Autodesk, Catia or Inventor (we use Fusion 360)
• the ability to lead a project team and motivate others is an advantage
• a proven track record of creative, innovative and analytical thinking will help you to achieve our goals
• communicative personality and problem-solving attitude
• active knowledge of English and Czech is required
